Usage & fair use
Antlytics has two kinds of limits: hard caps on Free, and soft fair-use thresholds on paid plans. This page explains both.
Free plan (hard caps)
| Limit | Amount |
|---|---|
| Pageviews / month | 25,000 (hard stop) |
| Custom events + engagement / month | 25,000 combined (hard stop) |
| Tracked sites | 1 |
| Dashboard history | Last 30 days |
Usage is counted as events ingested per calendar month (UTC). When a Free account reaches a hard cap, matching events are not recorded until the next month or until you upgrade. Your dashboard stays available for data already collected.
See also Plans & limits.
Paid plans (soft fair-use)
| Plan | Included pageviews / month |
|---|---|
| Starter | 500,000 |
| Pro | 2,000,000 |
Usage is counted as pageview events ingested per calendar month (UTC), across all your sites combined. Custom events and engagement beacons do not count towards the paid pageview allowance.
The usage meter
Open Settings → Billing to see the current month's pageviews against your plan's allowance, with a progress bar and percentage. The meter resets at the start of each calendar month. On Free, the meter reflects the hard pageview cap.
What happens near a paid limit
- At ~80% of your allowance — we email you a heads-up so nothing surprises you.
- At 100% — we email you again and show an upgrade suggestion in the dashboard.
Each alert is sent at most once per calendar month.
What does not happen on paid plans
- No dashboard lockout. Your dashboard keeps working and your data keeps flowing.
- No metered overage charges. We never bill you automatically for going over.
- No data loss. Events past the soft allowance are still ingested and stored.
If your traffic has genuinely outgrown your plan, we'll ask you to move to a suitable tier — with notice, not a switch-off. Sustained extreme overuse (far beyond any plan's allowance) may be throttled to protect the service, but that conversation happens by email first.
Data retention
Retention is separate from the monthly allowance: events are kept for 6 months on Free, 2 years on Starter, and 3 years on Pro. See data retention.
